If you want to find people who you actually know and that you actually care about, you should go to LinkedIn. But you can’t go to LinkedIn to find people you’ve never heard of or you’re not looking for friends.
One of the most common questions I get from new readers is, “Should I start a Twitter account to be active in the MySpace community?” This is a question that is often asked by people who have recently joined MySpace but who are not yet actively involved. In MySpace, you have a page where you can post your own photos, videos, and information. You can also interact with your friends. On Twitter, people don’t have this level of control.
